Ayurved Uses
Daruhaldi is an excellent liver tonic. In any pathologies of liver this herb acts flawlessless. Best mode of administration is decoction 50ml [Boil 25gms in 400ml water and reduce to 50ml over slow flame]. Roots are more beneficial than stem. Powder is less effective than decoction. Women suffering from excessive bleeding during menses get good relief with use of Daruhaldi decoction for 3 months. Necessary diet [Sugar caffeine restriction, minimal salt, fixed eat and sleep timings] needs to be followed to get optimum relief. Daruhaldi decoction is an excellent medicine to cure long standing obstinate fevers. People who suffer from recurring fevers and are unable to gain strength and vitality benefit from the decoction within weeks. Daruhaldi due to it vitality promoting factors is an excellent medicine to treat cancers especially of metabolic origin. Cancers arising in the GI tract , hepatic cancers , breast cancers and even cervical acncers benefit from Daruhaldi if taken with correct diet. Daruhaldi is one of the rare herbs whic even acts in end stages of cancers where metastasis occurs. Daruhaldi decoction is cooked with goats milk to derive its extract known as Rasanjan [Rasaut]. This is an excellent eye tonic. Drops prepared from Rasaut help in many opthalmic disorders. Rasaut taken internally is a styptic and arrest bleeding. Case presentation to show beneficial effects of Daruhaldi
A male 40 years with symptoms of indigestion, occasional gout attacks with history of non alcoholic grade 2 fatty liver [SGPT was elevated to 50]. From ayurved point of view the problem was with agni which was churning out more kleda (waste) and not Sar (nutritious part). This lead to decrease of metabolism and accumulation of wastes in the body [uric acids, lipids etc].
The patient was kept on strict diet comprising of fixed food timings [salt and sugar restriction for 15 days slowly salt restriction relaxed]. Apart from other herbs, the main herb used was concoction of Daruhaldi roots. The patient got good relief with increase appetite, proper digestion, weight loss and relief from joint pains. The sonogram was repeated with complete reversal of fatty liver [confirming to the fact that Ayurved has good liver medicines and can prove useful in any pathology].

Hello Dr. Prabhakar, ni wonder if you can tel me something. I have taken berberis 4ch homeopatic granuls.
And the all of a sudden, i got a big red pijnfullump on my forhead. All bones in my face and around my ears hurt... i also take other herps, but this was a new one.
