The blog is a collection of articles published on the Rare Medicinal Plants Ayurveda, group which started from Orkut and moved to Facebook. the blog was created due to request by members who wanted easy access to discussions. All discussions of note would be transformed to articles and published. This include Case studies, Herb monographs. The blog is an offshoot of the online Ayurved repository National Library of Ayurved Medicine [NLAM] which aims to document Ayurved medicine in a standardized method and has reference to over 1300 formulations, 700 plants. Through NLAM Education a free audio/visual course on Ayurved is run 3 times a year.
