APPLICATIONS
Used as a fertility agent especially in Pusavan [gender selection in fetus]. Necklace made from seeds are endorsed for the process. Bark is useful to treat reactions by venomous insects. The wound is characterized by dar colored furnace with sebum like discharge flowing and moderate to severe pain accompanied with fever and sometimes abscess. Aqueous paste is applied. I have used the bark to treat glandular swellings with good results. It is also useful to treat lymphatic disorders like Elephantiasis and auto immune disorders like Erythroma nodusum characterized with swelling of lymphatic channels. The bark decoction with a edition of black pepper seeds is useful. The bark juice is considered as an "Agad" or antidote to many poisons and hence in terms of confusions about the source of poison the bark juice is administered internally as a precaution.
