The Lost Abode of Shiva, Divine Kashmir

Naranag or Wangnath group of temples are heritage archeological site of Kashmir. Filled with rich history of divine mystical Lord Shiva energy, they now lie in ruins. Nestled amidst the holy energetic lands of the Haramukh Mountains, the ethereal abode of Shiva that represents Kundalini power potential; from whom his Shakti in form of Gangabal lake & Nundkol lake flow as kinetic pathways,  completing the Mahā Yantra at Konsernag , where the feet of Lord Viśnu lie  in South Kashmir, Naranag temples potray the Jyeśtarudra and Bhuteśvara forms of Mahādeva. Purana mentions of this place as the hermitage of Riśi Vaśiśtha , a place where Lord Śiva protected Mā Pārvati (she is also known as Jyeśtha) from demons. Hence the Jyeśtharudra & Bhuteśvara form. With rich heritage right from the time of King Jaluka, the son of Samrat Ashoka to the flamboyant charismatic King Lalitaditya Muktapida & finally King Avantivarman, the temple complex now stands in utter ruins with abyss of its past glory & the potential energy it emits.

Timeline of Video

Locaton of the temple & how to reach Naranag from Srinagar

02:26 The present day condition of the temples, the ruins and demolished Shivalinga, The structure of the complex with East & West group of temples with Matha structures in between, The Muslim caretaker of the temple , the secular framework of Naranath, Lodging and boarding options in Naranag

03:35 The current maintenance & security measures at Naranag, Tourist facilities by Jammu Kashmir government at Naranag. Conservation apathy of the temple complex. A bit about the Naranag Gangabal Haramukh trek, How visiting the holy Haramukh, Gangabal lake , bathing in waters of Nundkol & returning back to the temple emits divine Shiva Shakti energy.

04:37 Thoughts about creating a Temple Trust here which may boost tourism & infrastructure. Chances of reinstating the Shiva linga or creating a small Shiva temple which may restart pilgrimage & create job opportunities for locals going a long way in abolishing the political social instability in this part of Kashmir.

Dronagiri, Where Lord Hanumana Is Not Worshipped , Himalayas Best Kept Secrets

DRONAGIRI...AYURVEDIC EXCURSION TO AN UNCHARTED LAND FROM RAMAYANA

Chapters - Timeline of Trek ********************************* 00:00 Start With Intro Clip Of the Trek 00:24 Start of Journey from Dehradhun Railway station 00:31 Picking up rental gearless scooters to drive till Joshimath over 2 days 00:50 Driving in a rental car from Joshimath Till Jumma village 01:55 Starting of Trek from Jumma village , Visiting Ringi Village in between & crossing many landslides & snow areas 05:11 Reaching Camping Spot for the night 05:41Staring Trek Towards Dronagari Village & passing through many snow areas & landslides 08:27 Reaching Dronagiri Village. First step of the year in the village since people Migrated in October 10:01 Knowing Why Lord Hanumana is not worshipped in this village 11:41 Journey Back to Jumma with thoughts & reflections The name "Dronagiri" is of great significance in Indian culture. The Ramayana makes strong mention of it as the mountain lifted by Lord Hanuman and transported it to Lanka to procure the mystical Sanjeevani herb to revive Sri Laxmana. The mountain contained many miraculous herbs and Lord Hanumana was short of time to select the one required as instructed by the vaidya sage Sushena. This chain of events has been rooted in the traditions of locals of Dronagiri village who do not worship Lord Hanumana here as he uprooted their life giving mountain. Located at 3750 m (abmsl), Dronagiri is the highest inhabited village in the pristine Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (NDBR). The village becomes desolate in winter and people leave for lower habitations. They leave their houses empty and food stocked (interestingly potatoes which do not get rancid even after 6-8 moths). They return in late May and only enter the houses after a ritual to ward off spirits. Being located at such inhospitable terrain and being cut for most parts with civilisation they have immense knowledge of herbs and harsh survival techniques. I hope going this journey opens up new perspective to less known land in the Indian Himalayas in state of Uttarakhand
